Let's see if I get this right. For the past year, Democrats, the left, the justice department, the FBI and a few other agencies, including the CIA, DoD, ASPCA, PTA and others have been conducting an extensive investigation purporting "collusion existed between the Trump campaign and the Russians regarding the prior election". People have been shouting, leveling their own accusations, rioting and implying that Trump and the Russians stole the elections. The FBI has been at the heart of this investigation...their prior leader, James Comey, had been leading the push to get at the heart this investigation. The FBI even came up with a secret dossier complied by several agencies, including foreign agencies, perhaps attesting to this very thing. Well, a year has gone by, no new information has surfaced, and still no arrests specifically have been made supporting the accusations. A special investigator was hired by the Congress to find out the truth. This guy was once in the FBI too! Still nothing...oh, a few lives have been ruined, a few firings have occurred, someone even went to jail for something they did several years ago, but nothing specifically has surfaced that finally proves this happened. Now we hear that secret messages by very high ranking FBI officials have surfaced that discuss ways to (for lack of a better word) "fix" some of Trumps people even Trump himself - this occurred prior to and even perhaps after the election. The messages revealed they would have even liked to "hurt" some of Trumps folks even Trump himself. In other words...individuals within the FBI may have discussed ways to get rid of a president. Pretty serious if you ask me! Now we are told that perhaps as many as 50,000 messages went missing from the FBI files. Somewhere I remember hearing of another time when another 30 or 50 thousand messages went missing from someone else. Perhaps the FBI learned how to lose them from the other person who lost theirs. I don't want to make lite of this issue...it is serious! OUR preeminent law enforcement agency's credibility is on the line. These folks should have no allegiance to anybody, they should have an allegiance to the Constitution, to which they swore an oath to defend. Folks we don't have to worry about the Russians, they are our known enemy...it's their mission to make us fall. Perhaps we do have to fear a new threat that has been creeping into our government. I'm one for draining the swamp, including government employees and officials that don't consider their allegiance to the Constitution worth the words they spoke when they were sworn into office or position. I also place blame on the prior administration that allowed these folks to remain in office...nothing of this nature is discussed in messages or meetings, at these levels of government, that goes on without the full knowledge of those at the very head of the department, agency or government.
This morning as I turned on the TV set on my way to make coffee, a national ( CNN:HLN Channel) news segment had apparently earlier asked its viewers to write in and tell them who "they would raise taxes on if they had the ability to do so". I'm paraphrasing now but here is how it was played out: One person wrote in and said, "raise taxes on the big oil companies but do it APPROPRIATELY". This individual's email actually had the word APPROPRIATELY spelled in capital letters. The second individual wrote in and said, "raise taxes on the junk food companies because they make food taste good which forces us to eat it and yet it is bad for us". (They will one day raise prices on Junk Food, mark my words!) Honest, i'm not making this up!!!!! As to the first writer, i'm ASSUMING (I capitalized this word to make a point too) they think raising taxes APPROPRIATELY would not effect the average consumer - ergo, their use of the CAPS! In o...
