I predict, Alan West WILL be a serious contender this upcoming election...for the VP slot. Without a doubt, Herman Cain or Alan West are on my list to help lead this country. I am excited to think they would be remarkable as the President/VP team in the 2012 election if not the 2016. Now that would be history in the making.

We all have a natural tendency to remind ourselves that WE are the only ones who have had it so bad when it comes to storms and catastrophes. In fact, we forget the turmoils of our parents and grandparents. (Just research the storms of 1947 and 1888). The weather conditions we are experiencing today are just that, weather conditions. We are haughty fools to think we can control Mother Nature by our puny actions or in-actions...Mother Nature is in full control - always has been, always will be. What should really define us is if and when we come through these events we take the opportunity to be thankful first, and secondly, give what you can to the Red Cross, your local community relief organizations and your neighbors. This is what makes sense.

Wait till the wacko environmentalists hear this - a light bulb has been burning nonstop for 110 years. The first thing they will force the the firm into doing is getting rid of the energy power sucking wasteful bulb and have it replaced with one of those that is eco-friendly (you know, the one with mercury in it; the stuff fish are eating and require EPA aid if it breaks). Secondly, they will label the firm wasteful and seek congressional assistance into enacting legislation sanctioning firm and have all firms only light bulbs during certain hours - to further conserve energy. Here's something to think about... Christmas is just around the corner. Lets all of us get out this message and do OUR part to help our own economy (since all of our lawmakers don't know how its done). Let's everyone of us only BUY AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS as gifts this year. Can you just imagine if each us did this one act. We would help our neighbors, create and keep jobs, reduce the trade imbalance, keep our small businesses open, etc. Keep this message going

Well, it appears “Big Government”, you know the one…the guys that want to help you choose your life style all the while telling you its in your best interest to do as they say, not as they do. Apparently the Mayor of San Francisco has issued another “city-wide proclamation” which will ban all soda drinks from all vending machines. They want all San Franciscans to fully understand the harmful effects sugar-laced soda has on you, the constituent, you know, the ones they were elected to serve. To help the city leaders logic sprout wings and sore among the populace, they implore citizens to trash the idea of drinking soda and, responsibly “drink pure clean refreshing water” from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir, which is San Francisco’s major source of drinking water. Recently, a friend and I were discussing “the business of music”,…a topic he and I are very much interested in as both he and my son are in the business of making music - not just any music, but great music! I would like to invite you to listen to his and my son’s contributions to the “music world“ if you have not heard them before. (They are awesome writers, singers, producers and players of music - you won‘t be disappointed). I know many of you have already heard some of their works… take a listen to their new stuff. He and my son have been in the business for many years, each one at a different phase within the industry. You know, now I see there are similarities between our past two presidents. Bush had issues with Weapons of Mass Destruction (he was attempting to protect our way of life by not allowing there use on us.....Obama has an issue with Weapons of Mass Production (he wants to protect us by reducing our competitiveness in the world by socializing businesses thereby limiting their use to better ourselves).

Check my post in April of last year. Duh!... Who would have thought the Russians were NOT going to hike the rates to send OUR astronauts into space after they heard we were retiring our entire shuttle services this summer. Apparently, Russia is hiking the price for each rocket ride to nearly $63 million in 2014. The contract extension with the Russian Space Agency totals $753 million, which covers trips for a dozen astronauts from 2014 through 2016. Now, wouldn't it have made more sense to have considered this move a few years ago, BEFORE we told the world we were going to retire the shuttles and do this to NASA - by the administration. All the while using the $753 million dollars to award contracts to fellow American business firms to develop the much needed launching services.
